DE:GENERATE was the final project for the Game Design Foundations course I completed at AIE in 2015. It’s a one level prototype arcade-style first person shooter that contains bullet hell elements.

It’s intended to have a heavy music focus. Unfortunately that was beyond my ability at the time, so the music and associated animation is strictly aesthetic here.

It’s heavily recommended you do the (short) tutorial, there are a couple of mechanics at play that might not be immediately obvious.

Known issues: There’s a wall missing, some room defences don’t turn off when cleared, overcharge persists on death (click to release), hit detection is sketchy.
